In my early childhood life I had a fascination for light and shadows. I was also aware of people and places I couldn’t see with my eyes at the time, and the sound and voices that went along with them. I was very aware at an early age there was more to life than just the physical world I was living.
This curiosity had me doing a lot of thinking and experimenting to better understand what I was feeling and experiencing. Then there were all the books of the supernatural I would borrow from the local library and school library (my fellow students was always giving me the weird-eye), and purchased with my given pocket money.
Looking back at all of this I was a sure candidate for Reiki when it crossed my path, and it did so in my early 20s.
At that time, Reiki felt more genuine and traditional, rather than just a trendy practice sprinkled with superficial charm nowadays. While there are many reputable Reiki Masters/Teachers, unfortunately some see it merely as an opportunity for quick profit, which sadly dilutes the essence of Reiki and the sacred initiation process.
Nowadays, it often feels like paying for a mere title or badge, which is disheartening!
When I made my commitment and connected with a Reiki Master/Teacher of the Usui Shiki Ryoho system, it was the start of a very knowledgeable and spiritual journey.
Reiki I was a two and a half day event. Reiki I is made up of four attunements (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual) which my Reiki Master/Teacher passed over two days. The attunements were a re-alignment and caution was the protocol with it not overwhelming the student, plus giving me the needed time to settle into this beautiful energy.
With my insightful experiences and commitment to genuinely assisting others, I decided to take the next step: Reiki II. At that time, I spoke with several Reiki Masters/Teachers who emphasised the importance of investing time into Reiki I before embarking on the Reiki II journey. I was required to practice Reiki I on individuals for a minimum of six months, up to a year, while maintaining a journal to document my experiences giving me a good baseline.
Reiki II was truly a "mind-blowing" experience! It deepened my understanding of the unseen realms, enabling me to send Reiki to people, animals, places, and even “times” from a distance, as Reiki transcends both distance and time. It is a universal force that serves as the "glue" connecting anything and everything. Our existence goes beyond mere physicality, and Reiki II acts as a gateway to our Higher Selves, as well as to our past and future, allowing us to traverse time. The best way to describe Reiki II is that it opens up the opportunity to witness the miracles of the Universe.
In time, I chose to advance to the next level in Reiki: Reiki III (Master/Teacher)! My intention was to help others experience Reiki and discover the vastness of life, leading to greater spiritual awareness and physical fulfilment. Being initiated into Reiki III, along with the dedicated time and practice, has given me a sacred gift, allowing me to attune others to the Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki system. This the original Reiki system, infused with profound Buddhist practices, was developed in Japan by Mikao Usui and passed down to his direct in line student, Dr. Chujiro Hayashi, who, initiated Hawayo Takata, bringing Reiki to the Western world, via Hawaii.
For me Reiki is sacred and so I keep classes small in numbers - a maximum of 4, preferably 2. This allows me to give my best to the people who have committed to the path of Reiki. I also believe those two people will not only be drawn to me, but will have lots in commons with each other encouraging a far richer experience throughout the 8hr participation over two days.
Through Reiki attunement(s), a variety of transformations occur. In essence, I help re-align you with your natural connection to the Universal Life Force, Reiki. This flow may be disrupted by our childhood experiences, the projections of others, and the negative mindsets we often adopt. Additionally, these attunements operate in layers—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual - ensuring that the body is not overwhelmed by excess energy and fluctuations, which can lead to a range of issues.
As previously mentioned, the Usui Shiki Ryoho system consists of three levels of Reiki, each with distinct abilities and characteristics that define these levels.

Reiki I Course Overview
This course offers a comprehensive introduction to energy healing (including practical examples), focusing on the principles of Reiki, what Reiki entails, and its application for both personal and professional use. Over the span of two days, I will facilitate four attunements designed to “align your antenna” and help balance your energy. Participants will have the opportunity to practice self-Reiki under my guidance and learn how to administer Reiki to others with my support and guidance. We will also engage in discussions about your personal experiences with Reiki, allowing me to provide you expert feedback to ensure you leave with clarity regarding Reiki. Upon completion, you will receive a detailed Reiki I manual & a personalised certificate welcoming you into the Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki I system.
Reiki II Course Overview
This is where the magic unfolds! Reiki II transcends the physical body and defies the boundaries of time and space as we perceive them. It deepens our connection to realms beyond our physical existence, granting access to our Higher Self, spirit guides, and even the Reiki Masters who came before us. In this level, you'll be introduced to the Reiki symbols and learn how to effectively utilise them. These symbols hold great power, and I will provide you with a solid understanding and hands-on experience in their application during our time together. Reiki II opens up your inner world, enhancing your intuition and sharpening your meta-perceptions. It is important to note that a minimum of 6 months of practice with Reiki I on yourself and others, along with a Reiki I certification (preferably the Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki I system), is required.
Reiki III Course Overview
This represents a significant commitment on your part. You now possess the knowledge and the master symbol necessary to teach and initiate others into the three levels of Reiki. As the highest level of Reiki, it demands an honourable and responsible approach as you guide and educate the next generation of Reiki practitioners. As a master/teacher, you will be equipped to support and encourage individuals, providing assistance in the months following their initiation into Reiki. It’s essential to note that you are required to have practiced Reiki II for a minimum of six months, both on yourself and others, and you must hold a Reiki II certification. Additionally, we will have three preliminary sessions to assess your progress with Reiki II and to discuss your transition to Reiki III.
At this point, I want to emphasise that I wholeheartedly encourage you to reach out to me whenever you need support as you incorporate Reiki into your life and those around you. Completing your initiations into the levels of Reiki doesn't mean you're left to navigate this journey alone. Reiki Certification

Reiki I - $330.
This program spans two days, with 4 hours of instruction each day. It includes learning, hands-on practice, a comprehensive 30+ page Reiki I manual, and a certificate of initiation. You will receive four attunements as part of the Reiki I process. Additionally, support, guidance, and answers to any questions or concerns will be provided after the class.
Reiki II - $560.
This one-day course comprises of 5 hours and includes comprehensive learning, practical instruction, and hands-on experience. Participants will receive a 35+ page Reiki II manual and a certificate of initiation. You will be attuned to Reiki II and introduced to three symbols. After the class, support, guidance, and answers to any questions or concerns will be provided.
Reiki III - $1450.
This course spans over two days, consisting of 4-hour sessions each day. It includes lessons, hands-on practice, teaching Reiki to students, an understanding of the attunement rituals for all three Reiki levels, a comprehensive 50+ page Reiki III manual, and a certificate of initiation. You will receive one attunement to Reiki III and be introduced to the master symbol. Additionally, I offer ongoing support, including certification templates and assistance with your online presence, ensuring you feel confident to take charge of your Reiki III journey.
